Meet Naim Abu Saif, who arrived in Turin from the horror of Gaza to join our master program in Comparative Law, Economics & Finance. Naim is a 22-year-old student from the north of the Gaza Strip, who was training to become a journalist before October 7, 2023.
His life is marked by deep loss and unimaginable pain. He lost his home, his father, and most of his family, finding himself displaced and alone in a war zone. His story reflects the anguish of countless Gazawi families.
Despite these extraordinary circumstances, Naim's resilience and determination brought him to Turin, where he will begin his studies at the IUC. His arrival symbolizes hope and the transformative power of education even in the darkest times.
